Fringe.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the Mecca for all emerging, established and well-known creatives across the world. A three-and-a-half-week explosion of colour, performance, laughter, drinking and collaboration, the Fringe is close to the best fun and most challenging experience I’ve taken on, and something I’m desperate to try again.
I took my solo show Echoes of Villers-Bretonneux to the Fringe in 2019, and between performing (6 shows a week), flyering on the Royal Mile, taking in shows or enjoying the perks of The Abbotoir, I set out to capture a range of portraits, of the incredible and diverse performers who have come from across the globe to Edinburgh.
